DAY 2

Breakfast and departure for a guided tour of the Château de Cheverny and free visit of the gardens. The castle features unique pieces of furniture and remarkably well-preserved interiors. The apartments on the 1st floor bear witness to the French art of living: the birth room, the children’s room, the private dining room, etc. But Cheverny harbors many other treasures, such as the 17th century Gobelins tapestry presented in the Salle d’Armes or the Louis XIV chest of drawers in Boulle style.
Then, tasting of 4 wines from AOC Cheverny and AOC Cour Cheverny at the Maison des Vins de Cheverny.
Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, boarding at Chisseaux for a cruise-walk on Le Cher for 1 hour. Bordered by hillsides covered with forests and vineyards, up to the arches and beyond the most sumptuous Château Renais-sance: the Château de Chenonceau. The walk is commented by the pilot.
You will sail aboard a flat-bottomed boat, a traditional vessel for navigation on the Loire and its tributaries, which has awnings to protect itself; or on board a toue built using modern techniques, which gives it a shallow draft (15 cm at full load) and makes it unsinkable.
After the cruise, free time in Blois. Finally, return to the hotel. Having dinner.
Finally at 22:30, discover the sound and light show at the Château de Blois.

DAY 3

Breakfast then departure to your city. Stop at the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau for a guided tour. The castle is built on an island in the middle of the Indre under the patronage of Francis I. Its pay-sager park, designed in the second half of the 19th century, offers a real natural setting.
